When a board-topper like Ollie Gordon II slides to Round 7, Pick 4, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Clark reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
