You could see the war room lean forward. Noah Fifita at Round 5, Pick 5 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Reaching for Webb left real value on the table behind him. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
