The Patriots lost the trade table, and the C tells the story.

The phones were a trap the Patriots kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A mixed bag that lands at C.

It is not that Higgins is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first. Landing Sanders that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They are betting Cornelius proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Hit on Kelvin Banks Jr. and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
