They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Washington has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
