Whoever sat across the table from the Patriots should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

However the rest shakes out, Devonshire at that price is a win they earned. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
