The Patriots let Burke fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Denzel Burke got past him. The Patriots do not have to explain a thing at the Round 3 slot. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

They will need Shand to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Adding Davante Adams by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
