Simon should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Cody Simon slide 101 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They are betting Gillotte proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
