Williams should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in pick 231 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Isaiah Williams, the No. 181 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
