If confidence were a draft strategy, the Patriots would have aced it. David Walker at No. 218 is 77 spots clear of where he belonged.

Landing Dennis-Sutton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

If Will Campbell and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
