Call it larceny. Jaxson Dart sat on the board until the 131st pick, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Every board in the league had Walker lower, and that gap is the story. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Pat Surtain II pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
