The Patriots worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-.

The Patriots ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The Gillotte value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Pat Surtain II gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, with Tre Harris leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
