The Patriots let Green fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Taylen Green slide 26 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

With edge rusher and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. Every board in the league had Coogan lower, and that gap is the story.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
