You could see the war room lean forward. Conner Weigman at the Round 7 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Zvada proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
