A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bengals a B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bengals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to linebacker, which was the need that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Prongos has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Getting Jackson Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
