You could see the war room lean forward. Kurtis Rourke at the 220th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The Walker reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
