Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Patriots.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Patriots left interior defensive lineman untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Lovett at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

A straight-up fair deal on Jason Marshall Jr. at slot 99, value and slot in agreement. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

A tidy bit of business in pick No. 131, where Dasan McCullough graded well above the range. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
