The real work happened on the phones. The Patriots fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Judkins at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
