The steal of the weekend belongs to the Patriots and Zvada: B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Dominic Zvada at the 220th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They will need Trapilo to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
