You could see the war room lean forward. Danny Stutsman at slot 98 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Cameron Jordan gives the group a proven body among the projects. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
