The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 64 spots for Garrett Dellinger, and value like that does not grow back.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Ott at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
