Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jaxson Dart got past him. The Patriots do not have to explain a thing at pick 85.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Harris reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Bottom line, with Emery Jones Jr. leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
