Best value of the weekend goes to the Patriots for Fitzgerald: B+.

You could see the war room lean forward. Ryan Fitzgerald at the 238th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They will need Brown to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Porter is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
