The Patriots found their guy under center in Daniels: B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Hadden at that price is a win they earned. The cost of the Wilson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
