The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

The cost of the Wingo reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Landing Fisher that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The veteran additions, Derwin James Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jared Verse and all.
