The Panthers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Ja'Quinden Jackson, the No. 98 name on the board, in the 139th pick. Very little went wrong, and the A is earned.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Every board in the league had Delane lower, and that gap is the story.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In the end it comes back to Tai Felton, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
