The steal of the weekend belongs to the Panthers and Simon: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Cody Simon tumbling to the Panthers in pick No. 230 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Jordan Hicks pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
