Winston Jr. should have been long gone. The Panthers pounced, and earned a A-.

Call it larceny. Kevin Winston Jr. sat on the board until the Round 5 slot, and the Panthers did not need to be asked twice.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Williams to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Mykel Williams and all.
