A costly weekend of dealing drags the Panthers to a D.

The phones were a trap the Panthers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Gargiulo to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On value alone, Jackson makes the weekend a net positive.

The veteran additions, Stefon Diggs chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
