There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Panthers started one anyway for Brady Cook, 98 picks ahead of schedule. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. Dallas Turner gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
