When a board-topper like Kalel Mullings slides to pick No. 162, you do not overthink it, and the Panthers did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Kennard has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Panthers indulged a want in Corleone while a need in quarterback stayed open. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
