After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Panthers committed. Shedeur Sanders is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

However the rest shakes out, Lawson at that price is a win they earned. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Tuimoloau has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
