You build a draft on nights like this. Harold Perkins Jr. had no business being available in pick 220, and the Panthers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

The Grimes reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

It is not that Turner is a bad player; it is that the Panthers had louder needs to answer first.

Bottom line, with Jack Sawyer leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
