Larceny in the 88th overall pick lands the Panthers a C, James and all.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Panthers were there to profit. DJ James, the No. 53 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 88.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They will need Eichenberg to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
