The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Panthers watched Nico Iamaleava slide 34 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The Keenan III pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
