The Panthers' one glaring miss is cornerback, a need they left exactly as they found it.

On value alone, McCaffrey makes the weekend a net positive. They will need Vidal to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
