Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Cedric Johnson at pick 101 is 45 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
