Larceny in the 180th pick lands the Panthers a D, Boyd and all.

Somebody took the Panthers to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Boyd value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
