Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Tahj Brooks got past him. The Panthers do not have to explain a thing at Round 7, Pick 15. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

The Roberts pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
