Nwankpa should have been long gone. The Panthers pounced, and earned a B+.

You could see the war room lean forward. Xavier Nwankpa at the 113th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Winston Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The DeWayne Carter pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
