Call it larceny. Patrick Paul sat on the board until No. 101, and the Panthers did not need to be asked twice. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Williams to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
