Draft Grade — Panthers
Overall A-
ValueB NeedA- TradesA+ FutureB
Best value of the weekend goes to the Panthers for Green: A-.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Panthers, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

However the rest shakes out, Green at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Foyesade Oluokun deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

In the end it comes back to Adonai Mitchell, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Adonai Mitchell
Adonai Mitchell at pick No. 33 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick39 Rnd2 Darius Robinson
No edge and no loss on Darius Robinson in No. 39; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick65 Rnd3 T.J. Tampa
They let T.J. Tampa come to them and pounced at the Round 3 slot. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick101 Rnd4 Renardo Green
Steal is underselling it; Renardo Green at Round 4, Pick 1 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick142 Rnd5 Christian Jones
Christian Jones slid further than he should have, and the 142nd pick is lovely value for the offensive lineman. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick240 Rnd7 Trey Knox
The board had Trey Knox higher than pick 240, and the tight end fell to them anyway. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
