You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Panthers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through offensive lineman. Prieskorn has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The veteran additions, Marvin Harrison Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, offensive lineman very much included.
