The rest of the league will want that one back. Jake Majors tumbling to the Panthers in No. 139 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The cost of the Griffith reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
