The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Panthers watched Jamari Thrash slide 29 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Adding De'Vondre Campbell by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
