The Panthers spent real capital to be 78 picks early on Seth McLaughlin, and the board is going to hold them to it.

That Emmanwori pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
