A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Panthers get a C.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Panthers did exactly that with Chris Johnson Jr. in Round 7, Pick 35. It nets out a thoroughly average C.

They banked enough surplus on Greathouse to cover a lot of smaller sins. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Hit on Nyck Harbor and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
