The Panthers did not so much draft Tony Rojas as overpay for him, 129 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Taaffe at that price is a win they earned.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
