The steal of the weekend belongs to the Panthers and Pierce: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Panthers were there to profit. Hollin Pierce, the No. 112 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 146. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Caelen Carson gives the group a proven body among the projects. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
