Call it larceny. Nicholas Singleton sat on the board until pick No. 162, and the Panthers did not need to be asked twice.

Dellinger has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
