The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Panthers reached some 100 spots for Jimmy Horn Jr., and value like that does not grow back.

The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That Watts pick is the receipt they will wave around later. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
